I went to Sushi Garden twice over the weekend with my boyfriend, not only was the food fantastic but the service and the staff were spot on. It was a really enjoyable experience for us both. The waitress even remembered our drinks from the night before. It's such a shame that we couldn't bring the restaurant and its staff to London with us! This place is fantastic!

Sushi Gardens reply: You can bring them to London!!!
We are planning to open a restaurant in London soon, hopefully end of September of biginning of October!
We are so glad to hear from you that you enjoyed your meal with us, we will send an invitation with all the information you would need!!
See you in London~

I recently found sushi garden a few months ago and without doubt it is the best restaurant in brighton & hove for me. i admittedly am a massive fan of japanese food but even people who are maybe a little scared i advise you just to go down for lunch and try the ramen or udon set. it is easy on your wallet, loads of variation, delicious and even if you dont care too much for the taste you can sit in a beautiful room and be served superbly by beautiful ladies in kimonos.
i lived out in japan for a year with my girlfriend and this is the closest we have come to authentic japanese food here in blighty.
my only gripe is that the menu has no tako-yaki or okonamayaki!!!
keep up the good work sushi garden!!!

Sushi Gardens reply: Yes, Sir! we will!
Thank you for coming all the time.. it's so nice of you!
We always try to do our best to make you and other people happy with good food and service, please enjoy your Sushi Garden!
But, in case, if you have any bad experience or inconvenience with us, please leave your comment here or e-mail me personally(yomjisun@gmail.com) then I will see what we can do to make you happy again!
Thank you, always.

Sushi Garden is the real deal. I had sushi at least twice a week when living in San Francisco and missed good sushi so after moving here! The only thing offered was McSushi (you know the fast food kind revolving throughout the restaurant or stuff premade in the grocery). Then my husband and I happened upon Sushi Garden one day 3 years ago. We have found no better anywhere in England. Service is great and the food spot on authentic and delicious.

Sushi Gardens reply: It's so touching.. what you said really means to me, no to all of us here. That's the actual reason to work for me, thank you so much. We will do our best!!!!! Thanks!

I came on Saturday for my first visit and was disappointed. My Tempura was very stodgy and floury and the Ramen had no additional spices or chopped vegetables with the chicken and noodles.

I eat at WAGAMAMA and other Alan Yau restaurants in London and I find no fault with their food at all.

Perhaps this is the way it is served in Japan, but I wonder why WAGAMAMA food tastes so different.

Sushi Gardens reply: First of all, we are very sorry for disappointing you.
Stodgy and floury Tempura sounds really bad, I'm so sorry again and I will find out what the problem is from the kitchen.
I would like you to come back and give us a chance to serve you again with better quality food. I will e-mail you with my secret word, you can mention it when you come back next time then we will serve one portion Tempura for free.

About the Ramen and WAGAMAMA, I know our Ramen tastes different from theirs. I have tried their food about hundred times. I am not trying to criticize them but We are quite proud of food we make here as we think this is the real taste of Japanese Ramen.
Maybe you prefer their Ramen to ours, everyone's taste is different so I can't say which one is good or bad but Wagamama is more like fusion pan-Asian food so it should be a bit different from ours.
They are good, actually I like them a lot personally(shhhh ).. haha

Sorry again, and we will be better next time you come back!

I just wanted to mention what an amazing time we had when we came for a meal on valentines night.
It was also our anniversary so it was quite a special occasion.

The staff at the Sushi Garden made it such a special night for us both.

We would definately recommend to our friends, and the next time we come to brighton, we know where we will be eating.

Thankyou so much for making our night so special.

Many Thanks

Danielle

Sushi Gardens reply: so sweet of you!
